After being laid off near the beginning of the pandemic, my friend George (from Howler) reached out to see if I wanted to help with his new media startup. The idea was “personal podcasts” — using the skills of journalists and a strong tech base to record family history, friends’ memories, or whatever you wanted with the shine of a professionally produced podcast.

As an interviewer and editor I conducted hundreds of conversations, helping guests share their stories across more than 200 episodes.

In a writing capacity, I also helped with email marketing, newsletter writing, and blog content. My writing highlighted use cases for the platform, spotlighted media coverage, and encouraged purchases.
