In the course of applying for a more-permanent position with this canned cocktail startup, my assignment was to write a number of lines that could be be used across various ways customers interact with the brand.

While they ended up hiring a candidate who could come into the office rather than be remote, they liked my work so much that they offered to pay me as a contractor to buy the rights to some of the work I had done.

One of my lines was used on packaging, in-store retail displays, while others showed up on organic and paid social.
